Sustainability Solutions Exchange
In its inaugural year, the Sustainability Solutions Exchange (SSX) aimed to support responsible and sustainable consumption and production, bringing together business leaders, sustainability practitioners, and policymakers for a three-day online conference alongside a digital expo. Through Altum's network, global leaders and sustainability pioneers shared insights. Workshops and data stories with partners like Thinking Machines and MAGO Analytics provided a solid foundation.
Bakong
The Bakong project, led by Design Center Philippines in collaboration with Altum as Sustainability Expert and Creative Director, aimed to introduce Bakong as a circular material driving innovation and solution-based designs. Grounded in the values of Circularity, Innovation, and Culture, the project brought together designers and manufacturers with sustainability at the core of their designs, leading to the emergence of two closed-loop systems in fashion and bioplastic.
Pinyapel
Pinyapel, a project of the Design Center's Materials Research and Development Program, repurposes agricultural waste like discarded pineapple leaves into specialty paper.
